Screen on the Green post coverage

Yesterday's Screen on the Green was a huge success. The rain missed us by just a couple of miles or so. Our volunteers rose to the challenge. Many of them going beyond the call of duty.

To put this year in context, last year we averaged around 120 each month. Yesterday we had more than 210 people. It was packed even after we expanded our borders. We ran out of popcorn and drinks because we weren't anticipating the crowds. When I asked for a show of hands how many had been to a previous Screen on the Green only 25% raised there hands. It was great to see and talk to many new faces and many new people in the community.   Had a handful of great conversations about Crossings last night as well.

It was an amazing movie night and a great start to a summer of fun.
