This is the second of a series of post under the theme "confession of a pastor." My hope is that I'm not alone. That you can not only relate, but you will find encouragement and strength as well.
I Question God
I hate to break it to you but believing God's way is the best way doesn't always seem to be the best way. I'm a pastor. I shouldn't think this way. But I do. Sometimes the plans of God interfere with my plans and it causes me to questions God.
Why am I here doing this, with this person, at this time, like this? Is this really the plan of God? It sure doesn't seem like it.
I am constantly having to remind myself that God sees the future and the past simultaneously and that he knows best. It's like God present perspective is "hindsight." And hindsight is always 20/20.
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
God help me to believe your way is the best way!
